Relaxing ocean side Onsen!
Loved the location and building ! Right by the ocean with free shuttle bus from the Atami station. Tried all 3 onsens. The buffet dinner at Nishiki was amazing. I’d love to come back

The resort style experience is amazing compared to old style Onsen
The room has a beautiful view of the ocean, many spa to choose, free shuttle is convenient.
When we booked, we were attracted by the buffet dinner in the grand dinning room, turned out we were serving a set dinner, it was high quality but not what we expected. Should have more info on that.

What was the highlight of Hotel New Akao
Big. Maybe too big.
Restaurant is huge like cruise ship. (Feel like that's the theme of the design.). A lot of selection of food and drink. Room size is also huge. Lots of facilities. There is a whole floor just for retro games and prize machine. (Not sure what's it is call. Put in a token, play it then win a figure or doll.)
Too much walking. I stayed at the horizon wing of the hotel and in order to go for meals I have to go to the lobby, walk ~6 minutes to the ocean wing then take another elevator to 2/f. I personally don't have waking issue but I would imagine it would be very hard for people have even slight walk issue.
